November:
- The weather in Canada is starting to feel bipolar. As I was heading home from work, it was hailing in one moment and the next minute it was thundering.
- Had a workplace crush, but my heart was broken when I realized they were taken. Nevertheless, I am feeling grateful that they are happy and that I can finally let go and move on. That being said, it has been weeks since I have moved on, and I am at peace with myself; it took a long time as I was working on my self concept.
- Took a trip to the Eaton Centre and started Christmas shopping for my family. My favorite part of the trip was walking around the book store—I was excited about the the children's book, classics and manga section. One of Canada's staples—Tim Hortons—had a mini pop up shop, selling little Tim Horton themed plush. As I headed home, I grabbed a pizza melt from Subway, which was saucy and cheesy.
- Fun Fact: When I was young my mom would buy chocolate covered marshmallow called Viva puffs for snacks—had to grab the holiday edition; it was nothing special—it just tasted minty.
- As Winter is fast approaching, I purchased my first Winter Thermal Blundstones. The wool insoles made the boot warm and comfy. They are a little snug at first, but they are comfortable once you break into them.
- Feeling grateful for work since my family is getting chaotic. I feel like I have been starting to open up more to my co workers, sharing laughs, jokes, and talking more about myself to others. I'm feeling proud of myself.
- Started to get back into reading—especially manga—currently re-reading the Say I Love You series. As I am reading the series, it makes me realize how closely similar I am to the female lead, Tachibana Mei.
- Treated my parents and went to watch the newly released Wicked: For Good movie! Tickets were only $9.90 + tax per person on Tuesday. We also grabbed mini cinnamon donuts as a snack before heading into the theater—the donuts were fresh and the outer layer was crunchy due to the sugar.
Nov 26th: Had an anxiety attack episode. I calmed my anxiety down via affirmations and taking deep breaths but those methods were ineffective this time. Hence, I calmed my brain down by laying down and closing my eyes for awhile. That said, I was feeling grateful that I got some lunch with my parents (we shared a plate of sushi at the food court) and tried T&T's milk tea. The milk tea wasn't too sweet and you can taste the bold tea flavor.Milk Tea
- Nov 28th: Black Friday! I didn't pick anything up this year since the deals I was looking for were not as good as I expected. That said, I spent the day just relaxing and watching anime.
