Monthly Review | March Break Madness, Coming Out of My Shell, Family Time | March 2026

Disney Pixar Hoppers                  NYF Truffle Fries                           Spring day

march:

  • The beginning of March was super hectic. Work was filled with daunting phone calls while tasks piled on top one after the other. That being said, I started to feel burnt out. To fix this, I changed my sleeping schedule and started a new routine for myself by sleeping at 10 - 10:30pm.
  • Feeling proud of myself as I am starting to feel like I am coming out of my shell. I have been socializing with my co workers sharing my interests, passions, as well as my family life. Lunchtime used to be dreadful but now it has been fun to say the least.
  • 2026 has been a transformative year so far. I got around to planning my first solo date during May, and although I will be alone, I am genuinely excited to spend some time with myself. That being said, as a theater goer, I finally bought tickets as well to see the Great Gatsby on Aug 14th! Additionally, I am starting to plan my first solo trip to Vancouver (it's nothing too crazy); please comment  down below for recommendations for places I should visit! 😊
  • Feeling grateful that the weather has been getting warmer, feeling joyful as I inhale the spring breeze, and lastly witnessing the beautiful sunset as spring is approaching. 🌷
  • Mar 8th: Daylight savings—feeling exhausted as we lose an hour of sleep. 😢
  • This month I reconnected with some of my favorite hobbies: drawing, reading, exercising and writing (I began planning my own story, so stay tuned!)
  • Things I tried this month: New York Fries truffle fires (4/5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ — I got the regular size for around $7. Although it tasted great, it can get filling really fast so I do recommend sharing with a friend or purchase the snack size which is around $4.
  • Enjoyed spending time with my older sister as we went to watch Disney Pixar Hoppers (it was super funny yet sentimental at times—perfect message about protecting and preserving the nature for young kids) in theaters. Spent some time catching up with my brother's girlfriend while we conversed over some homemade spaghetti and egg tarts. 🍝
  • Accomplishment: Finished filing my 2025 taxes!
  • Things I watched this month: Still Shining, iHeartRadio Awards, 2026 Oscars, Disney Pixar Hoppers
  •  Currently Reading: Half His Age by Jennette McCurdy
